INSPIRATION
My husband is not really into home offices. He would rather sit on the couch and work. Fine by me! That means the office space is ALL MINE! YIPPIE! Ok, so this space will be my experimental out of the box space. I want to use a black and white palette along with my favorite print CHEETAH. Sometimes cheetah print is used all wrong and the spaces look cheap and/or cheesy. For this room, I wanted to go with a more eclectic look. I love how Houtzz.com defines eclectic, “Eclectic style is the great equalizer. It reshuffles the rule book, mixing and matching old and new, East and West, luxe and humble, showy and quiet. It invites you to fill a space with objects you love and unique finds that strike your fancy. Simply put, it’s you, curated.” Deviating from the traditional brown and black cheetah print, I found the snow leopard print to really speak to this design aspect. Well… I guess a cheetah and a snow leopard are two different animals but you know what I mean.

I love the sophistication of this office. The chic photo wall collage and the tufted bench in front of the desk really makes the space feel regal and elegant. The black, white and gold color palette also displays the classic elegance of the space.

Cheetah and Pink are used very well in this space. The white and gold desk is a statement piece. Pink wall color, accessories and accents help tie in the color scheme. And who doesn’t LOVE the cheetah carpet. This is a bold move but is executed with perfection..

Ok… this is where I fell in love with the snow leopard print. The accent wall is the true focal point of the space. Although the room is very neutral, the wall adds drama and interest.

I put together 3D renderings of my office designs ideas. I really want the space to be my “Girl Cave”. The office is 13’7″ x 10″, a small space with big impact.
DESIGN 1:
This is the ultimate lady’s office! The cream and black Tanzania wallpaper and the dramatic gold accents truly reflect my office inspiration. The modern, trendy wall art and fancy furnishings help to make this office a true statement.
DESIGN 2:
You can’t go wrong with Black and White. This classic color scheme is timeless and simplistic. The subtle cheetah additions bring a little drama to the classic color palette. The glass desk practically disappears in the space and makes the office feel much larger.
Design 3:
I’m blushing! This very girly yet glamorous office will leave lasting impressions. The use of metals and wood furnishings are completely on trend. The tan, blush and white color palette is calming and inviting. The mirror furniture reflects light making the space feel large and spacious.
Design 4:
Another timeless palette for this fourth design. The grey, black and white office is elegant and sophisticated. The glass desk is trendy and doesn’t take up visual space. The silver leaf console adds structural interest, while the twin book shelves provide much needed storage.
